Motorola recently unveiled the g96 5G, the company’s newest 5G smartphone in the g series, in India. The phone has a 6.67-inch FHD+ pOLED 3D curved screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. It has a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC and 8GB of RAM.
It has a 32MP front camera with quad pixel technology, a 50MP main camera with a Sony Lytia LYT-700C sensor, OIS, and an 8MP ultrawide camera with macro capability.
One of the most notable features is its 6.67-inch 3D curved pOLED display, which is a segment first with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1600 nits. With a tiny, light design, the phone weighs 178 grams and is only 7.93 mm thick, with Gorilla Glass 5 protecting the display.
Along with up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage and 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, the Moto G96 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 CPU. It guarantees three years of security updates in addition to one year of OS updates and runs on the Hello UI of Android 15.
The phone’s optics include a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide + macro + depth triple-function sensor. There is a 32 MP front camera with 4K video recording for selfies and video calls.
In addition to Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front, it has IP68 dust and water resistance. The phone’s 5500mAh battery can be charged quickly with 68W TurboPower. In addition to twin stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio, and Moto Spatial Sound, Motorola has added a vegan leather coating for a more upscale feel.
Smart Connect 2.0, Family Spaces 3.0, and Moto Secure 3.0 are additional software features designed to improve cross-device communication and privacy.
Moto G96 5G Price and Availability
Beginning on July 16, the Moto G96 5G will be available for purchase on Flipkart and other retail sites. Four Pantone-curated colors—Ashleigh Blue, Greener Pastures, Cattleya Orchid, and Dresden Blue—are available for the phone from Motorola.

- 8GB + 256GB: ₹19,999
