The Google-owned fitness-focused company Fitbit is well-known for its selection of trackers and smartwatches that make it easy to monitor your fitness and health. Fitbit is now releasing some new updates for a number of its gadgets, which include a wide range of models.
For the Sense 2, Versa 4, Charge 6, and Inspire 3, Fitbit is releasing software updates.

In an effort to improve fitness tracking, Fitbit is updating its user base with new capabilities. Also receiving some careful modifications and improvements are the brand’s smartwatches.

The enhanced accuracy of heart rate tracking included in all current Fitbit models is one notable enhancement. Google attributes these gains to machine learning advances, which should also result in more accurate computations for other fitness measures like Active Zone Minutes and calories burned.

Additionally, the Fitbit Sense 2 and Versa 4 now support YouTube Music thanks to the most recent software update. Your favorite music is now accessible to browse, choose, and play right from your wrist. Just remember that in order to get the most out of it, you’ll need a YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium subscription.

Additionally, the two smartwatches receive an enhancement with new Zoom and Magnification functions that let you to adjust text size for easier viewing. Furthermore, by enabling the watches to smoothly swap between their integrated antenna and the antenna of a linked device, the upgrade improves GPS accuracy.

Not only that, but the Sense 2 and Versa 4 can now identify an additional range of exercises without your intervention, including elliptical, rowing, and spinning. And that’s in addition to cycling, walking, and running.

Concurrently, the Fitbit Inspire 3, the entry-level fitness tracker, has advanced as well, now offering 20 additional workout options that were previously exclusive to the more expensive versions. Like its more costly counterparts, it has the ability to auto-detect:

  • Running
  • Walking
  • Biking
  • Elliptical
  • Rowing
  • Spinning

Fitbit Charge 6 is also participating in this. It now recognizes running, walking, biking, elliptical, rowing, and spinning automatically, much like the Inspire 3. Additionally, it has benefited from Google’s GPS upgrades, so when you pair it with your smartphone, you should anticipate improved accuracy.
