Do you recall the time the new Vantage was unveiled during the Daytona 24 Hours? Aston Martin took the latest Vantage GT3 racing.That premiere is now confirmed.

In essence, the Vantage GT3 is a standard Vantage that has undergone extensive modification in order to participate in endurance racing. To prepare it for track use, a roll cage was put in its bonded aluminum chassis, along with carbon fiber body panels and a host of additional modifications.

Like every other vehicle in the GT3 class, the new Vantage is originally intended to be a production car. Despite their differences, all of the cars in the class perform extremely similarly. The Aston’s engine is the same as the production car’s, but it is adjusted to produce 500–600 horsepower in order to comply with regulations. Similarly, all GT3 class cars have to weigh between 1,200 and 1,300 kilograms.

Aston believes that the new Vantage GT3 will enjoy the same level of popularity among customers as the previous model did. The carmaker plans to have 30 cars competing at circuits worldwide by the end of the 2024 season. This is due in part to the fact that Aston’s car is already used by so many client teams and that it is eligible for so many different series.

Notwithstanding the formula’s success, the manufacturer claimed that the new model has fixed some of the “challenging” handling qualities of the prior model. Following a lengthy development program, drivers have provided good feedback, describing the automobile as having “no vices” and being very forgiving.

There will be several chances for you to witness a Vantage GT3 in operation. It will race in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), the European Le Mans Series (ELMS), and the Nürburgring Langstrecken Series (NLS) in addition to the IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship domestically.
