The original Nothing Phone’s low cost was one of its main selling points, and it appears that the Nothing Phone (2a) will surpass it by charging even less.
We’ve been hearing more and more about the Nothing Phone (2a) over the last few weeks. The device is expected to be a more cost-effective smartphone to complement the more costly Nothing Phone (2). Its launch on March 5th is officially confirmed. Leaks from the past have revealed both a significant makeover and some slight spec reductions, like as the move to a MediaTek CPU.
But the precise price has remained unknown.
A few weeks ago, there was a rumor that the price would be less than 400 euros, but now there is concrete information.
According to Dealabs, the Nothing Phone (2a) will go on sale in Europe for €349 at launch. That is not only significantly less than the current €679 selling price of the Nothing Phone (2), but it also undercuts the original Nothing Phone by €50. This pricing is based on the primary 8GB/128GB edition of the gadget that is being sold in France. Both the 12GB and 256GB models would cost €399 and be available in black and white color options.
There are no plans to reveal Phone (2a) on March 5.
