The VH850 is the newest gaming headset from major Chinese peripheral manufacturer Rapoo. The headset can be purchased on JD.com for 199 yuan ($28).
Specifications on the Rapoo VH850:
With its 50mm neodymium drivers and graphene composite diaphragms, the Rapoo VH850 offers powerful power output, powerful bass, and enhanced resolution and dynamic sound performance.
Due to the physical two acoustic chambers in the headset, bass is separated from other frequencies, distortion is decreased, and sound placement is improved.
With its 360°-adjustable detachable omnidirectional noise-canceling microphone, it provides crystal-clear voice communication while reducing background noise. For easy muting, the microphone additionally has a dedicated switch.
With its three connection modes—2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.3, and a 3.5mm audio cable interface—the headset can be used for gaming, work, or leisure listening.
The VH850 has big, over-ear protein leather ear cups that are easy to use for extended periods of time. These ear cups are soft, breathable, and good at blocking out background noise. Additionally, it has a lightweight metal single-head beam design that can be precisely adjusted using telescoping arms to match a range of head sizes.
The headset’s mirror-finished RGB illumination gives your gaming setup a fashionable touch. Nevertheless, the illumination can only be used in wireless modes; wired modes are not available. With dedicated buttons for mode switching, volume control, microphone muting, and light effects, it provides easy-to-use controls.
A 1200mAh rechargeable lithium battery powers the Rapoo VH850, which can be used for up to 46 hours in non-lit mode and 17 hours when RGB lighting is turned on. A USB-C port is used for charging, and it takes about three hours to fully charge.
