The Redmi A3x recently made its debut in the global market in June this year. It’s a budget offering from the company in its A-series phones.
Now, Redmi has introduced the smartphone with the identical internal hardware configuration and design to the Indian smartphone market. The Redmi A3x, which comes pre-installed with the most recent version of Android OS and a sizable battery, is quietly released in India.

Redmi A3x cost and availability in India

  • There are two storage configurations available for the Redmi A3x: 3GB RAM with 64GB storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB storage.
  • In India, the 3GB/64GB model retails for Rs 6,999, while the 4GB/128GB option costs Rs 7,999.
  • Midnight Black, Ocean Green, Olive Green, and Starry White are the three hues available.

Redmi A3x characteristics and specs

The 6.71-inch IPS LCD display on the Redmi A3x boasts a refresh rate of 90Hz, HD+ (1650×720) resolution, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Mali G57 MP1 GPU and Unisoc T603 chipset form the device’s core. It comes with 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage that can be expanded to 1TB with a dedicated microSDXC slot, and up to 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM.

A 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging powers the gadget. With its dual back camera setup, the Redmi A3x is equipped with an 8MP primary sensor and a QVGA (0.08MP) auxiliary lens. It has a 5MP camera on the front for taking selfies and making video calls. The Redmi A3x comes pre-installed with the MIUI based on Android 14, which is supported for three years along with significant OS revisions every two years.

It boasts an AI face unlock feature and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. A 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G VoLTE, and GPS are some of the other features of the Redmi A3x.

What’s New for the Redmi A3x?

The standard Redmi A3, which is already available in India, is being upgraded to the Redmi A3x in mid-life. The 6.71-inch HD+ screen on both phones has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a refresh rate of 90Hz.

The Redmi A3x is powered by a more potent Unisoc T603 chipset than the Redmi A3, which is powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 SoC. Both phones come with the same 5000mAh battery that can be charged to 10W and come pre-installed with Android 14. With a 5MP selfie camera in front and 8MP + QVGA twin shooters on the back, the camera setup is also the same.
