With short notice, Samsung has now moved the launch date to May 27. Although the company has not yet released pricing or availability information, the official product page has been launched, with all specifications confirmed.
As the Galaxy F55 5G is just a new version of the Galaxy C55, there are no surprises in store here. The Galaxy F55 is very different from the Galaxy A55 5G in that it has a leather back and a somewhat rounded frame.
In addition to a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 and a frame rate of 120 Hz, the smartphone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, a 4 nm semiconductor from 2022 that features four Cortex-A510 efficiency cores and four ARM Cortex-A710 performance cores with clock rates of up to 2.4 GHz. In addition, it features 256 GB of flash storage and 12 GB of RAM. Up to 45 watts of USB-C power can be used to charge the 5,000 mAh battery.
The fingerprint sensor is hidden beneath the screen. The high-resolution 50 MP selfie camera is a unique feature of Samsung’s mid-range smartphones. The rear of the device houses a 2 MP sensor, a 5 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50 MP primary camera. With Android 14, the F55 5G is guaranteed four major operating system updates and five years of security patch updates by Samsung.
Samsung abruptly rescheduled the Galaxy F55 5G launch ceremony, which was originally set for May 27. All parameters have been verified and the official product website has been established, even though the company has not yet disclosed pricing or availability information.
