Design

The bigger Skoda Kushaq and the Sub-4m SUV have certain design aspects in common. The first telltale sign is the butterfly grille with vertical slats, which is shared by other Skoda cars. Its distinct feature is its split headlamp design, which incorporates indicators into the LED DRLs. It is a good thing that the LED taillights resemble the Kushaq’s since they highlight the SUV’s boxy design.

Features and Interiors

the same 10-inch infotainment system as the Kushaq, complete with a completely digital driver display, automatic air conditioning, ventilated front seats, and a single-pane sunroof. It also has a steering wheel with smartphone connectivity.

A 360-degree camera, electronic stability control (ESC), six airbags, and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) are some examples of its safety features. The more expensive models might get ADAS, albeit it might only be available on Level 1.

Powertrain

The smaller 1-liter turbo-petrol engine, which generates 115 PS and 178 Nm and may be mated to a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual gearbox, is anticipated to power the sub-4-meter SUV. It would be fantastic if Skoda introduced a more aggressive variant of the 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol vehicle in addition to the DSG automatic.

Costing

Early in 2025, Skoda’s sub-4 meter SUV would be introduced in India, with prices starting at Rs 8.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
