TVS Motor Company is actively working on expanding its popular Ntorq lineup with an all-new, more powerful variant. The Ntorq series, which made its debut in 2018 with a 125cc engine, has gained a solid reputation among Indian riders for its sporty appeal, spirited performance, and comfort. Now, the company is preparing to introduce a fresh contender into the lineup—a new-generation Ntorq expected to house a larger 150cc engine.

Although TVS has yet to make any official announcement regarding the Ntorq 150, reports and market expectations suggest it could make its debut during the festive season of 2025, possibly around Diwali. The new scooter will enter a highly competitive segment, taking on rivals like the Yamaha Aerox 155, Hero Xoom 160, and other performance-oriented scooters.

To remain competitive in this performance-driven category, TVS may need to equip the Ntorq 150 with a liquid-cooled engine, as both the Aerox and Xoom already boast such setups. Interestingly, TVS currently does not offer a liquid-cooled engine below the 300cc category, which raises curiosity about whether the company will develop an entirely new liquid-cooled powertrain or enhance its existing air-cooled system for this new offering.

In terms of styling and structure, the upcoming Ntorq 150 is expected to carry forward much of the design DNA and chassis from its 125cc sibling. However, it will likely come with upgrades such as larger 14-inch alloy wheels, single-channel ABS for added safety, and several tech-focused features to attract the modern rider.

A 124.8cc, single-cylinder, 3-valve, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine producing 10.2 horsepower and 10.5 Nm of torque powers the current Ntorq 125. It is anticipated that the Ntorq 150 will result in a notable enhancement in performance. With a premium positioning, the Ntorq 150 is anticipated to retail for approximately ₹1.50 lakh (ex-showroom) at launch.
