Six airbags would be standard on all Taigun and Virtus models, according to Volkswagen India.
Volkswagen not only achieved a huge sales milestone, but also improved safety features. Sales of the Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus together have crossed one lakh, with the Taigun accounting for more than 61% of this accomplishment. Remarkably, about 40% of Virtus buyers have chosen the GT trim level, demonstrating the high degree of demand for this particular model.
Volkswagen has unveiled two new Taigun models: the GT Line, which is powered by a 1.0L TSI engine, and the GT Plus Sport, which is equipped with a 1.5L TSI EVO engine. Volkswagen’s extensive network spans 155 locations in India and comprises 208 sales and pre-owned automobile touchpoints in addition to 142 service touchpoints.
New corporate customer perks have also been introduced by Volkswagen India through the “Volkswagen Prime” program. This program provides “premium mobility solutions” via leasing- and subscription-based payment methods. For a four-year period starting on the date of purchase, corporate customers can take advantage of the Volkswagen Prime program at an introductory fee of ₹9,999.
Volkswagen India has set up Corporate Business Centres at more than 40 dealership sites across the country in order to better serve corporate clients. To cater to the unique requirements of corporate clients, each center will have a specialized corporate business manager. A number of extensive perks are available with the Prime program, such as complimentary car washes, value-added services, loyalty product discounts, expedited delivery, and free pick-up and drop services.
Volkswagen will also allow customers to pre-approve further repairs using a service camera. This will enable them to do so by viewing footage of the repairs in question. The goal of this creative strategy is to improve customer happiness and service process transparency.
