Although Xiaomi limited the 14 series’ “international” availability to Europe during its MWC 2024 launch, the device has now formally made its way into the Indian market as one of its newest Leica-branded, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered luxury smartphones.
The Pro model is still only available in the Chinese market, and the lineup comprises of the entry-level 14 and the top-tier 14 Ultra. However, Xiaomi says that the Sony LYT-900-powered latter will expand its “timeless design” to a new region with the white and black vegan leather versions, while the plain 14’s “Precision”-crafted glass would presumably be offered in green as well as black.
While reservations won’t be accepted until March 11, 2024, Xiaomi has disclosed that the new flagship phones would range in price from INR 59,999 (about $725) for the 14 to a whooping INR 99,999 (about $1,208) for the Ultra.
On the other hand, the two gadgets were also introduced in the European market at €999 (about $1,093) and €1,499.90 (about $1,640), where it is said that they are still outselling their predecessors. It will be fascinating to watch if they perform similarly in their most recent market as a result.
