New-gen Mini Cooper

The next Mini Cooper will be released worldwide in September 2023 and come in the C and S versions. The 1.5-liter, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine powering the new generation Cooper C will have a maximum output of 154 horsepower. Conversely, a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that can produce up to 201 horsepower will power the new Cooper S.

The next generation Mini Cooper’s “E” and “SE” electric versions will also be available in India, according to the firm. Whereas the latter will make use of a larger 50.7 kWh battery pack, the former will employ a 40.7 kWh battery.

Mini Countryman Electric

In reference to the Mini Countryman Electric, the electric sport utility vehicle will utilize the same foundation as the BMW iX1. The Countryman Electric comes with a 64.7 kWh battery pack in both the SE ALL4 and E versions for the global market. The standard ‘E’ variant produces 250 Nm of peak torque and 204 bhp of maximum power when paired with a single electric motor.

The more expensive ‘SE’ model has two electric motors that produce 493 Nm of torque and 313 horsepower of power. Regarding driving range, the ‘E’ version is WLTP-certified to go 461 km between charges, while the ‘SE’ trim is said to go 433 km on a single charge.

The company plans to introduce the latest generation of Mini automobiles to the nation in the upcoming month. For the first time, the Mini Countryman Electric will be brought to India as a Fully Built Up Unit (CBU).
