The Hyundai Venue now gets a new mid-spec S(O) Plus model with a sunroof priced at Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in its list of variants. A sunroof-equipped version is now Rs 1.05 lakh less expensive thanks to this variant, which falls between the S(O) and SX variants. But the only engine option is the 1.2-liter naturally aspirated engine with a manual gearbox.
In the Venue S(O) Plus Variant, what’s new?
Now, the least expensive model in the Hyundai SUV lineup with a sunroof is the Venue S(O) Plus. It costs just Rs 12,000 more than the S(O) variant and has all the features of the latter plus one additional feature.
It has LED DRLs up front, automatic headlights, and an LED tail light with a connecting bar design. The body-colored outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs) and 15-inch steel wheels that come standard with the S(O) model are still present.
The only engine available for the Venue S(O) Plus model is a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. 114 Nm and 83 PS are produced by the engine. A 1.5-liter diesel engine (116 PS/250 Nm) and a 1-liter turbo-petrol unit (120 PS/172 Nm) are also available for certain other models. The diesel only comes with a 6-speed MT, however the turbo-petrol motor can be ordered with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT) or a 6-speed manual.
The normal Venue’s off-white and black color scheme is carried through to the interiors. Its features include a single-pane sunroof, an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, a semi-digital driver’s display, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, and manual air conditioning.
The safety net consists of a hill start assist feature, a TPMS, a rear parking camera, and six airbags.
