The Kylaq compact SUV’s starting pricing was revealed by Skoda Auto India yesterday. The base trim of the Skoda Kylaq is competitively priced at Rs. 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom). After making its public debut at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo, formal bookings for the vehicle will start on December 2, 2024, and customer deliveries will start on January 27, 2025.
There will be five different paint schemes available for the sub-four-meter SUV: Olive Gold, Tornado Red, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver, and Candy White. It will be offered in four trim levels: Classic, Signature, Signature+, and Prestige. Six airbags, a manual day/night IRVM, traction control, three-point seat belts, and automatic engine start/stop are all included on the base Classic grade.
Central locking, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, a four-speaker audio system, 16-inch steel wheels, fabric seat upholstery, three power windows, rear air conditioning vents, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a front 12-volt charging socket, a manual air conditioning system, tilt-adjustable steering wheel, and powered wing mirrors are additional highlights.
In addition to a set of 16-inch alloy wheels and a steering wheel with mounted controls, the mid-level Skoda Kushaq Signature trim also has chrome accents on the door handles and HVAC vents, a defogger at the back, a parcel tray, a USB Type-C charging port at the front, two tweeters, two-tone dashboard and door panel finishes, TPMS, and a five-inch touchscreen display.
A 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a fully digital instrument cluster, electrically foldable ORVMs, cruise control, automatic climate control, paddle shifting in the AT trims, a chrome-finished leather-wrapped steering wheel, a center armrest at the back, new dashboard inserts, and more are all added to the Signature+.
More high-end equipment including leatherette upholstery, a six-way power adjustable driver seat, an electric sunroof, ventilated front and driver seats, larger 17-inch alloy wheels, a rear wiper, auto-dimming IRVM, and more are included in the top-of-the-line Skoda Kylaq Prestige model. With a 446-liter boot, the SUV will have the greatest boot volume in its class and is built on the localized MQB AO IN platform.
