The Juror #2 Max release date has been formally revealed by Warner Bros. Pictures, the studio behind Clint Eastwood’s most recent judicial drama. This is the seasoned actor/director’s first directing endeavor since the neo-Western drama Cry Macho in 2021. Last October, the movie made its world premiere at the AFI Fest.

The film follows family man Justin Kemp who, while serving as a juror in a high-profile murder trial, finds himself struggling with a serious moral dilemma . . . one he could use to sway the jury verdict and potentially convict — or free — the accused killer.

Starting on Friday, December 20, Juror #2 will be streamed on Max. People have given Eastwood high marks for his direction since the film’s theatrical debut more than two weeks ago. Based on 118 reviews, it presently has a 93% Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Jonathan Abrams of Escape Plan wrote the screenplay, which Eastwood directed. Nicholas Hoult (The Menu), Toni Collette (The Sixth Sense), Chris Messina (Based on a True Story), J.K.
