AI image manipulation is now more widely available and simpler thanks to Google Photos. All users of Google Photos will have free access to a variety of AI-powered editing capabilities as of May 15.
Three AI-powered Google Photos products are available to both iOS and Android users:
- Magic Eraser: With this tool, you may quickly and easily get rid of undesired things from your pictures, such as the background photobomber or overflowing trash can.
- Photo Unblur: Restore lost details and provide a crisper image by sharpening fuzzy photos.
- Portrait Light: Modify the lighting to highlight your subjects and create more flattering portraits.
Pixel Users have Greater Editing Capabilities
You will have access to the even more potent Magic Editor feature if you own a Pixel phone. This AI-powered editor was first released for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, but it is now available for all Pixel phones. With a few touches, you may execute intricate edits such as:
- Repositioning objects: Move your subject in the picture in an effortless manner.
- Substitution of the sky: For a more vivid image, turn a drab sky into a brilliant blue one.
There is a catch to this, though. Every month, 10 free Magic Editor saves will be given to all Google Photos users (using any phone). The only ways to have unlimited use are to upgrade to a Pixel phone or sign up for a Premium Google One plan, which starts at 2TB. One advantage shared by both solutions is unlimited Magic Editor saves.
Make sure to check the Google Photos app for these new features as the update rolls out on May 15.
