Happy Independence Day, Poland!
The present Doodle recognizes Poland’s Independence Day on the anniversary of the date in 1918 when the European country recovered its freedom after longer than a hundred years of divided standard.
November 11 was first seen as a festival of Polish autonomy the next year, and the date increased authority acknowledgment as a national holiday in 1937.
Depicted in the present Doodle is the on a horizontally-striped Polish flag, which was authoritatively received in its present structure in 1980.
Poland’s utilization of red and white follows back similar to the thirteenth century, when the shadings were utilized on the nation’s earliest documented coat of arms.
