In China, Lenovo has formally introduced the new Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.7 tablet. The normal model and the “Comfort Edition” are the two versions that are offered. Although their specifications are comparable, the Comfort Edition is made to be easier to read.

Details about the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.7

A 12.7-inch 2.9K display with a smooth refresh rate of 144 Hz, P3 color gamut, and compatibility for Dolby Vision is featured on both models. However, the Comfort Edition’s main goal is to replicate the paper-like reading experience. With its 12.7-inch screen, it offers a texture akin to paper and a 70% improvement in touch smoothness thanks to “comfortable soft light” technology. According to Lenovo, this model also improves “paper-like realism” by 63%, making it more enticing for consumers who read documents or ebooks on a regular basis.

The way the two versions’ RAM is configured is another obvious distinction. Although the basic edition also offers a higher-tier 12GB RAM option for the 256GB model, both feature 8GB RAM with either 128GB or 256GB of storage.

Other than these differences, the features of both versions are similar. Solid performance is provided by the Dimensity 8300 processor, while long battery life and rapid recharges are ensured by the 10,200mAh battery and 45W fast charging. Additionally, JBL customized the quad-speaker arrangement on the tablets to produce an immersive audio experience.

Lenovo offers extensive annotation options and low latency stylus support (9.6 ms for the Comfort Edition). Lenovo Xiaotian Beta, which appears to be geared at the Chinese market, is in charge of managing the software.
