Alcatel is getting ready for relaunching the Indian smartphone in market with a new device named the Alcatel V3 Ultra. Spearheading this fresh launch is Madhav Sheth, the former head of Realme India, who recently shared a sneak peek of the phone’s design on X (previously known as Twitter), creating a lot of excitement and anticipation among tech followers and smartphones.

It appears that the Alcatel V3 Ultra strikes a good balance between functionality and style. The device’s packaging puts a strong emphasis on the company’s heritage, proudly showcasing its French origin while simultaneously underlining its manufacturing credentials with a “Made in India” label. This suggests a strong attempt to appeal to both global quality standards and local production values. The handset is also set to support stylus input, making it a handy tool for users who enjoy sketching, note-taking, signing documents digitally, or highlighting important content directly on the screen.

Although the official specifications of the phone have not been fully disclosed yet, the box design provides some interesting insights. The back of the device features a round-shaped triple-camera module, complete with a flash unit positioned to the left side. Meanwhile, the front of the phone is expected to sport a centrally placed punch-hole selfie camera, giving it a modern, symmetrical look. What has also caught the eye is a new, unidentified physical button located beside the standard power and volume controls. This may be similar to the NxtPaper Key introduced in TCL’s 50 Pro NxtPaper device.

If the similarity holds, the mystery button could be used to activate unique display settings, potentially offering options like an eye-friendly monochrome “Ink Mode,” optimized viewing for reading, or energy-saving modes for different tasks. Alcatel has teased the presence of a completely new display technology aimed at reducing visual fatigue while delivering an immersive and high-impact viewing experience, suggesting a strong focus on innovation with user comfort in mind.
