Realme Buds Wireless 5 ANC Released with IP55, 360° Spatial Audio, 50dB ANC, and 38Hr Playback

Alongside the Realme 14 Pro series, Realme has introduced the Realme Buds Wireless 5 ANC neckband earbuds in India. Targeting the mid-range audio market, these earphones provide long battery life, spatial audio, and hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC).

Specifications of the Realme Buds Wireless 5 ANC

For rich, deep sound, the Realme Buds Wireless 5 ANC have a 13.6mm dynamic bass driver. The BT8931H chipset, which is included with the device, guarantees steady communication and balanced sound output. Additionally, it has three adaptive noise reduction levels and 50dB hybrid active noise cancellation, which efficiently reduce background noise for a fully immersive experience.

The earphones are perfect for gamers because they have 45ms ultra-low latency and Bluetooth 5.4. They have 360° spatial audio, which improves the gaming and entertainment listening experience, and dual-device connectivity for smooth device switching.

The earphones’ IP55 designation for water and dust protection indicates their durability, which makes them appropriate for outdoor use and exercise. With a weight of about 30g, the neckband’s lightweight construction improves comfort over prolonged use.

For crystal-clear speech pickup during calls, the gadget has a five-microphone system with ENC compatibility. It also has 4000Hz ultra-wideband noise cancellation for improved call clarity. Additionally, the neckband supports the Realme Link app, which lets users adjust noise cancellation and EQ settings.

The battery life of the Realme Buds Wireless 5 ANC is impressive. While active ANC mode offers a decent 20-hour battery life, users can enjoy up to 38 hours of playback when ANC is turned off. Fast charging is supported by the neckband, which ensures little downtime by providing 20 hours of playing with only 10 minutes of charging.

Cost and Availability

With an initial launch price of Rs. 1,599 ($18), the Realme Buds Wireless 5 ANC is now available for Rs. 1,799 ($20). On January 23, 2025, the first sale will begin on Amazon, Flipkart, Realme’s website, and physical retail locations. Twilight Purple, Midnight Black, and Dawn Silver are the possible color options for the smartphone.
