The Samsung Z Fold 6 during the latest Galaxy Unpacked event. With both hardware and software improvements, the company’s most recent high-end foldable now available. Here, AI is key, as is typical with modern technology.

When the Galaxy S24 Ultra was released, almost all of the ostentatious AI functions were added. Among these are the live translation function for calls and the interpreter mode for face-to-face language exchanges in another language. An abundance of emoji possibilities are available along with chat assistance to review messages for spelling, grammar, and tone.

The Notes app also has access to these AI features, which enable spell checking, translations, formatting, and automatic summaries. Additionally, a language translation overlay and a circle for picture search will be added to the foldable. Lastly, there is photo editing with AI assistance.

Given that it is constructed with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both the front and back, it should withstand a beating and continue to function. A sophisticated folding edge that is more resistant to pressure and sharp objects is a feature of the dual-rail hinge. According to Samsung, the Z Fold 6’s aluminum is 10% stronger than that of the model that came before it.

12GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor are present. A 6.3-inch AMOLED serves as the cover screen, while a 7.6-inch AMOLED with an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz serves as the primary screen. Although a new 12MP ultra-wide sensor is included, the 50MP primary camera is identical to the one from the previous year. 3x optical zoom is still supported by the Z Fold 6. With a maximum brightness of 2,600 nits, it’s also the brightest gadget in its class.

Preorders for the Z Fold 6 are currently being accepted in a number of hues, including pink, navy, and silver. The two hues, crafted black and white, are only available on Samsung.com. The base price of the foldable is an astounding $1,900.
