In the next 12 to 18 months, Kia India plans to launch a wide range of new models in the local market, catering to various market niches and pricing points.

1. Kia EV9:

Since it will be the top of the range, Kia’s EV9, which is built on the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), will be a big addition to the electric vehicle market. It will go on sale on October 3, 2024, and has a three-row seating configuration. Using the WLTP cycle, the Kia EV9 has a driving range of more than 541 kilometers.

The EV9 can get 239 km of range in just 15 minutes thanks to its incredibly quick 800V charging capacity. It will enter the nation through the CBU route. The SUV is 1.98 meters wide, 1.75 meters height, and 5.01 meters long. There will also be a ton of equipment inside.

    2. New Kia Carnival:

On October 3, the brand-new Kia Carnival, which is priced beyond Rs. 50 lakh (ex-showroom) and fits into a premium market, is also scheduled to debut. Offering various seating arrangements, it will satisfy individuals looking for high-end style and adaptability. The 2.2L four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with 200 PS and 440 Nm of torque will remain the engine of choice for the Carnival. It is mated to an eight-speed automated transmission.

A 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting, automated climate control, ADAS, head-up display, digital rear-view mirror, digital key with fingerprint recognition, multiple airbags, and much more are included in the list of equipment.

      3. The Kia Syros

The Kia Syros, which will be positioned in between the Sonet and Seltos, will have upright proportions and towering pillars that give the impression of space. The Sonet may have similar engine and gearbox options, and the inside will be crammed with cutting-edge amenities and technologies. It will go on sale in H1 2025, and later on, hybrid and electric versions are probably going to follow.
