The Indian compact SUV market is poised for an exciting transformation in 2025, with the anticipated launches of the Skoda Kylaq and Kia Syros. By combining design, creativity, and performance, these newcomers aim to satisfy the changing tastes of Indian customers.

1. Skoda Kylaq – Early 2025

With the Kylaq scheduled to debut early in 2019, Skoda is prepared to leave its imprint in the small SUV market. Built on the same MQB A0 IN platform as the Slavia and Kushaq, this is Skoda’s first entry into the sub-4m class.

The Skoda Kylaq is anticipated to make its debut on November 6 and has been often observed testing on Indian roads.

It is safe to assume that the Kylaq will come equipped with a number of recognizable Skoda design elements, such as the unique split LED lighting arrangement at the front and the butterfly grille.

In keeping with Skoda’s design ethos, the Kylaq’s side profile will have a simple, basic appearance. It is anticipated to have 16-inch alloy wheels that are entirely black. further revealed a new “SKODA” insignia that is prominently placed in the middle of the tailgate, along with T-shaped LED taillamps. Its sleek appearance is further enhanced by black roof rails, a sunroof, blacked-out pillars, and an upright bonnet, among other visual components.

To improve safety, the Kylaq will also have Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). It will have a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine under the hood that offers the ideal mix of performance and fuel economy for city driving.

    2. Kia Syros – Early 2025

Early in 2025, Kia plans to introduce the Syros, a fascinating new small SUV that will sit between the Sonet and Seltos. New spy photos of the Syros reveal a unique two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel—a feature not found on any Kia car in India to yet. The K4 sedan, which made its worldwide premiere earlier this year, and other current foreign Kia vehicles seem to be the sources of inspiration for this new look. There will be an offset Kia insignia on the steering wheel.

Images seen inside also show two displays that resemble the Seltos’ displays. These displays most likely include a 10.25-inch touchscreen and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. In addition, the Syros will come with a number of physical buttons below the touchscreen that have a scroll wheel for volume control.

With two petrol engine options, the Syros is anticipated to have exceptional fuel efficiency—estimates place it at about 18 km/l. This vehicle, which has already been sighted in testing, is targeted at urban consumers looking for a contemporary driving experience. It attempts to achieve the ideal mix between style, functionality, and cutting-edge technologies.
