DC Studios has provided release dates for Clayface and Dynamic Duo.

Mike Flanagan is the writer of the upcoming DC film Clayface, which is being produced by Lynn Harris and Matt Reeves. Arthur Mintz is the director and Matthew Aldrich is the writer of the DC Studios and Warner Bros. Pictures Animation feature Dynamic Duo.

Official release dates for both films have now been disclosed by Warner Bros.

When can you expect to see Clayface and Dynamic Duo from DC Studios?

On September 11, 2026, Clayface will open in theaters across the United States. Then, on June 30, 2028, Dynamic Duo shows up. IMAX theatres will also screen the later of the two.

It was revealed earlier this week that DC Studios was going ahead with a Clayface film, according to Deadline. Production is anticipated to start in early 2025, although plot specifics are still being kept under wraps.

Clayface will take place in the continuity of James Gunn and Peter Safran’s new shared DC universe, which was recently launched with the animated Creature Commandos series, according to Gunn’s description of it as a “DCU story” on Threads.

Although there is currently no official casting announcement for the Clayface film, it is noteworthy that Alan Tudyk is providing the voice of the character in Creature Commandos. Frank Grillo, who voices Rick Flag Sr. in Creature Commandos and will also star in the live-action Superman film in 2025, is one of the actors who will voice significant animated characters in DCU projects, as Gunn has previously stated.

Tudyk will also portray a live-action character in the DCU, according to Gunn. At first, it was unclear who he was referring to because Tudyk voices Clayface in Creature Commandos as well as Doctor Phosphorus and Will Magnus.

Other than the fact that Dynamic Duo will center on Dick Grayson and Jason Todd, not much is known about the plot at this moment. Theresa Andersson is co-producing that film with Reeves and Harris.
