Disney+ Korea’s highly successful superhero drama “Moving” has officially started production on its second season, the streaming platform announced Monday.

Season 2 was initially revealed during the Disney Content Showcase APAC 2024 event held in Singapore.

The upcoming season will continue after the events of the first installment. Although specific plot details are still being kept secret, the story is expected to once again center on major characters — Kim Bong-seok, who has the ability to fly; Lee Mi-hyun, who possesses enhanced senses; and Kim Doo-sik, who can also fly — as they face a new threat while trying to protect those close to them.

Notably, the role of Kim Bong-seok has been recast with rising actor Won Kyu-bin (“Bitch X Rich”), who made his debut in 2025 and has not yet taken on a major lead role. The casting change comes after original actor Lee Jung-ha enlisted in the military in January.

Most of the main cast members are returning, including Zo In-sung as Kim Doo-sik, Ryu Seung-ryong as Jang Joo-won, and Han Hyo-joo as Lee Mi-hyun.

Additional cast members include veteran actors Sul Kyung-gu (“Hyper Knife,” “Good News”), Lee Hee-jun (“Karma,” “The Scarecrow”), and Ryu Hye-young (“Reply 1988”), who will join the series in undisclosed roles.

Kang Full, the creator of the original webtoon and writer of the first season, is returning as the screenwriter for Season 2. An official premiere date has not yet been revealed.

Following its release in August 2023, the first season of “Moving” became Disney+ Korea’s most-watched local original series of the year. Adapted from the webtoon of the same title, the drama follows individuals and families with superhuman powers who conceal their abilities from the world while facing dangers targeting those powers.
