The 2025 Ather 450 series was unveiled in India. Three models—the Ather 450, Ather 450X, and Ather 450 Apex—make up the Bengaluru-based startup’s most recent array of electric scooters. Even though the cost of all models has increased in India, they all have a number of improved features, like a multi-mode traction control system, “Magic Twist” regenerative braking that is standard on all models, and greater range than the models from the previous generation of electric scooters.

The Price of the 2025 Ather 450 Series in India

The 450S model of the 2025 Ather 450 series is priced at Rs. 1,29,999 (ex-showroom) in India. The ex-showroom price of the 2025 Ather 450 Apex is currently Rs. 1,99,999.

Depending on the EV model, purchasers can choose to purchase a Pro pack, which ranges in price from Rs. 14,001 to Rs. 20,000.

Specifications of the Ather 450 Series for 2025

A new multi-mode traction control technology that provides three distinct modes of torque intervention—rain, rally, and road—is standard on all 2025 Ather 450 models. While the rally mode offers the most subtle adjustments, allowing the rider to traverse rugged or uneven terrain, the rain mode restricts acceleration for a safe ride in wet circumstances. For daily rides, the road mode strikes a compromise between quick acceleration and safety, providing the best of both worlds.

Additionally, Ather’s 2025 450 series now features Magic Twist regenerative braking. With just one throttle, riders can operate the electric scooter. They may decelerate by throttling backwards while maintaining the same acceleration movement, which also activates regenerative braking to charge the battery.

The new Ather Stack is available to those who choose the Pro bundle. Among its six features are Alexa Skills, Ping My Scooter, Share Live Location, WhatsApp on Dash, and more. Additionally, the business has two additional colorways available: Hyper Sand and Stealth Blue.

According to current reports, the Ather 450S can travel up to 122 kilometers on an Indian Driving Cycle (IDC) and takes five hours and thirty minutes to fully charge. The 3.7kWh variant of the Ather 450X increases the range to 161 kilometers with a charge time of 4 hours and 30 minutes, while the normal model claims an IDC range of 126 kilometers and a charging time of 3 hours.

According to Report, the top-tier 2025 Ather 450 Apex has an IDC range of 157 kilometers and takes 5 hours and 45 minutes to fully charge.
