Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL) has unveiled its updated lineup for 2025, introducing fresh designs and colors across its Gixxer and V-Strom SX range while ensuring compliance with the latest OBD-2B emission standards. This move marks a significant step for Suzuki as it aligns with government regulations and aims to captivate Indian motorcycle enthusiasts with enhanced appeal and performance.
The 2025 Gixxer series, which Suzuki refers to as “Straight Ahead Sports Bikes,” now comes with the tagline “Never Lets Me Down,” symbolizing the reliability and durability the brand is known for. These motorcycles are crafted to offer an impressive blend of design, performance, and dependability, appealing to mainstream motorcycle buyers in India. The Gixxer lineup includes street naked models and fully-faired variants in both 150cc and 250cc categories, with distinct updates for each.
Three additional color options are now available for the Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 models: Second Metallic Mat Black No. 2 Metallic Mat Bordeaux Red and Metallic Triton Blue/Pearl Glacier White come in second. These models are priced starting at Rs 1,98,000 and Rs 2,07,000 (ex-showroom), respectively. Meanwhile, the 150cc Gixxer and Gixxer SF feature updated color options, including Metallic Triton Blue/Pearl Glacier White, Glass Sparkle Black, and Metallic Oort Gray/Metallic Lush Green, with prices beginning at Rs 1,37,900 for the street naked variant and Rs 1,47,400 for the fully-faired version.
The new color schemes for the 2025 Suzuki V-Strom SX, a 250cc adventure touring motorbike, are Metallic Sonoma Red, Glass Sparkle Black, and Champion Yellow No. 2. The V-Strom SX, which begins at Rs 2,16,000 (ex-showroom) and keeps its 19-inch front wheels, wind protection, and ADV-inspired styling, is well-known for its touring ability and light off-road potential.
Beyond the refreshed aesthetics, Suzuki’s motorcycles remain equipped with their dependable air-cooled 150cc engines producing 13.6 PS and 13.8 Nm with a 5-speed transmission and oil-cooled 250cc engines delivering 26.2 PS and 22.2 Nm paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The core technical specifications remain unchanged, maintaining their reliability and performance.
