Chevrolet has unveiled the pricing for its highly anticipated 2025 Corvette ZR1, which starts at $174,995, including destination charges, officially making it the most expensive Corvette ever produced. Despite the hefty price tag, the ZR1 remains a compelling choice, offering unparalleled performance for a supercar in its class.
At the heart of the ZR1 lies a powerful 5.5-liter flat-plane, twin-turbocharged V8 engine, delivering an astonishing 1,064 horsepower and 828 lb-ft of torque. This makes it the most potent factory-produced Corvette to date. Chevrolet claims the ZR1 can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.3 seconds and has a top speed of 233 mph, as showcased in a video released last October.
The ZR1’s performance is significantly impacted by aerodynamic improvements. The optional carbon-fiber aero package, priced at $8,495, provides up to 1,200 pounds of downforce, improving handling and stability at high speeds. For track enthusiasts, the $1,500 ZTK Performance Package adds stiffer springs, retuned magnetic ride control dampers, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires, ensuring the car performs exceptionally well on circuits. Standard features include a carbon-fiber roof, carbon-ceramic brakes, carbon exterior trim, and Chevrolet’s Performance Data Recorder.
The 2025 ZR1 comes in two trims, the 1LZ and the 3LZ. Both trims offer a power-folding hardtop for an additional $10,000. The 1LZ trim is well-equipped, featuring eight-way power seats, an electronic rearview mirror camera, a 10-speaker Bose audio system, and a 12-inch digital instrument cluster. The 3LZ trim, which costs an extra $11,000, includes premium touches like heated and ventilated Nappa leather seats, a front-view camera, heated side mirrors, blind-zone alerts, a wireless phone charger, carbon-fiber shift paddles, and a leather-enhanced interior.
While the price may seem steep for a Corvette, Chevrolet emphasizes the ZR1’s exceptional value. Its performance rivals some of the world’s most renowned supercars, including those from Porsche, Ferrari, McLaren, and Lamborghini, all while maintaining a more competitive price point.
