A new feature that could allow users to share files with contacts nearby is being developed by WhatsApp. File transfers via Bluetooth are possible with WhatsApp for Android’s most recent beta version (2.24.2.17). Google and Samsung recently renamed the built-in file-sharing tool on Android, Quick Share, and enhanced it.
