ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has introduced the 2025 Zephyrus G series ultraportable gaming laptops at CES 2025. The range offers top-tier performance for gaming and content creation in thin, light designs, with the newest NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs and state-of-the-art AMD Ryzen or Intel Core processors.

High performance and mobility are combined in the Zephyrus G14, which is powered by an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 laptop GPU. The Zephyrus G16 offers strong performance and processor choice thanks to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 285H and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPU. Both versions have plenty of storage options and enable up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM for smooth multitasking and heavy tasks.

Maximum performance is guaranteed by sophisticated thermal solutions. Within its small frame, the G14’s thermal design offers 47% more coverage and better airflow for effective cooling. With its liquid-metal thermal compound, improved chassis, and optional 44% vapor chamber coverage, the G16 improves cooling. During prolonged gameplay, both setups use 2nd Gen Arc Flow Fans to minimize noise and preserve ideal temperatures.

ROG Nebula Displays in the Zephyrus G series provide outstanding graphics. The G16 has a 2.5K display with a 240Hz refresh rate for incredibly smooth motion, while the G14 has a 3K resolution OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 0.2ms response time. For amazing color accuracy and HDR performance, both models feature Dolby Vision, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500, and the 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.

The series’ design and portability are still its defining features. With its weight of 1.5 kg and thinness of 1.59 cm, the G14 provides unparalleled mobility. At 1.85 kg and 1.49 cm thin, the G16 strikes a compromise between improved performance and small size. Both versions combine a refined look with long-lasting durability thanks to their CNC-milled aluminum chassis. Details regarding availability and pricing should be disclosed later.
