The Chinese market saw the introduction of the Changan CS75 Plus crossover, a fourth-generation vehicle, as an ICE family vehicle priced at 121,900 yuan (17,750 USD). Its interior features an MBUX-inspired Hyperscreen and an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

In China, the CS75 Plus crossover is among the best-selling models. Changan sold more than 130,000 of these SUVs between January and August of 2024. The manufacturer introduced the 4-gen CS75 Plus in order to maintain a sufficiently high level of demand for this vehicle.

Large headlamps and a trapeze-ed grille coated in the body color are two examples of how the fourth-generation Changan CS75 Plus embraces the new design language. Additionally, the front bumper of it features a sizable air inlet. Retractable door handles, a flat roofline, and an LED taillight strip at the back are additional exterior design elements of this vehicle.

This crossover’s new style made it strikingly resemble Changan vehicles from the Uni series (Uni-K, Uni-T, Uni-Z). R19 wheels are used on the new CS75 Plus. With a wheelbase of 2800 mm, its dimensions are 4770/1910/1695 mm.

The new Changan CS75 Plus has a simple interior design. Neither the center tunnel nor the center console have any physical buttons. As an alternative, it features a sizable cluster with three screens: a 12.3-inch front passenger screen, a 14.6-inch main screen, and a 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel. Behind the two-spoke steering wheel is the gear changer.

The zero-gravity front passenger seat and two wireless phone charging mats are features of the new CS75 Plus. It can lower itself to the point when the passenger’s body adopts a neutral spinal stance. An electrically adjustable leg support is also included with the front passenger seat. Additionally, the L2 driver assistance system with autonomous parking and adaptive cruise control is supported by the CS75 Plus.

Pricing and powertrain

The new Changan CS75 Plus is an ICE crossover, as previously announced. It currently comes with a 1.5-liter engine that produces 310 Nm and 141 kW (189 horsepower). It is connected to an automated 8-speed transmission with a torque converter. Changan will introduce the all-new CS75 Plus with a 2-liter ICE in December of this year.

Two trim levels of the Changan CS75 Plus, which is the fourth generation model, are offered for between 121,900 and 129,900 yuan (17,350 and 18,500 USD).
