The Electric Scooter 5 Pro, a model from Xiaomi, is intended to make city commuting more convenient.
Features of the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Pro
Three speed settings are available on the Electric Scooter 5 Pro: Walking (6 km/h), Standard (20 km/h), and Sport (25 km/h). Its maximum speed is 25 km/h. With a maximum power output of 1,000W, its rear-wheel motor can climb slopes up to 22%. Even on slick roads, the scooter is kept stable with the Traction Control System (TCS).
This scooter is made to comfortably navigate a variety of road conditions. To lessen the impact from uneven ground, it includes a single spring at the back and two springs up front. Smoother rides are a result of the broad, 10-inch tubeless tires’ strong traction and stability.
The carbon steel frame is foldable for convenient carrying and storage and has a carrying capacity of up to 120 kg. It is useful for daily usage due to its lightweight design and easy folding mechanism.
The scooter can travel up to 60 kilometers on a single charge thanks to a 477Wh lithium battery. Safety measures are added by Xiaomi’s clever battery management system to guard against problems like short circuits, overcharging, and overheating. Additionally, the scooter has a kinetic energy recovery technology that turns motion into additional power, extending the battery’s range.
Users may install updates, lock the engine, and check the scooter’s location using the app-based controls that come with it. Real-time speed, battery level, and turn signal status are displayed on a dashboard mounted on the handlebars.
It has an automated headlight, taillight, and turn signals for increased safety and visibility, particularly at night. The braking system ensures dependable stopping by combining a rear E-ABS and a front drum brake. Additionally, it has an IPX5 water resistance rating, meaning it can withstand light rain.
Cost and Accessibility
Xiaomi has not formally disclosed the Electric Scooter 5 Pro’s price or release date. It may, however, cost €504.99 in France, according to sources, which is less than the €599 that was previously estimated.
