With a resolution of 3840 x 2160, the UltraGear G8’s 27-inch 4K Nano IPS Black display provides remarkable color accuracy and rich contrast. The monitor’s dual-mode refresh rate, which provides a lightning-fast 480Hz refresh rate at 1080p and 240Hz refresh rate in 4K resolution, makes it ideal for fast-paced gaming. Additionally, it reduces motion blur with a 1ms (GtG) response time.
For crisp, colorful images, the monitor has a 2000:1 contrast ratio, 450 nits of brightness, and VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification. With 99% DCI-P3, 100% sRGB, and 86.6% Adobe RGB for precise color reproduction, it provides broad color coverage.
With support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, VESA AdaptiveSync certification, and Nvidia G-Sync compatibility, this monitor guarantees fluid and tear-free graphics when playing games.
Its connectivity features include a USB Type-A port, two HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 2.1, and a 4-pole headphone jack. Although it doesn’t have speakers built in, it has an ergonomic design with a slim bezel on four sides and tilt, height, rotation, and pivot adjustments for user comfort.
Gaming-focused features including a built-in FPS counter, dynamic action sync for less input lag, a crosshair overlay for improved precision, and a black stabilizer for improved visibility in low light levels are all included in the monitor for increased utility. It also has a distinctive hexagonal lighting arrangement that adds ambience and draws gamers even more into their virtual worlds.
During CES 2025, LG also announced the UltraGear GX9 series, which includes the award-winning 45GX990A and 45GX950A monitors with 45-inch 5K2K OLED screens, 800R curvature, and cutting-edge gaming capabilities including VRR support and adjustable aspect ratios.
